Volunteering with Methodist Social Services
Volunteers were a vital part of the life of Methodist Social Services when it was first established and that hasn’t changed.
Volunteer numbers currently sit at just under 200, with most volunteers working in the Goodwill Operation, which is the life blood of the organisation, generating much needed funds for social service delivery, while providing quality secondhand items to people in need in the community.
Volunteers also contribute to other areas of activity including education, foodbank and governance.
We constantly seek new volunteers, particularly in the Goodwill Operation, Events, Foodbank and Education as people come and go, depending on what’s happening in their lives.
